I’m proud to welcome the stunning Telana McCullough to takeover Tuesday! Telana McCullough is a trailblazer in all aspects. Currently working as a Staff Attorney for the Oklahoma State Department of Education, and serving as the Diversity Committee Chair for the Oklahoma Bar Association, Telana has shown her dedication to our community. Serving as an example to young girls all over Oklahoma. You should not only want to be part of your community’s change, but you should instead strive to lead it.
Telana’s uses her style to encapsulate her motives throughout any given day at work. Viewing her clothing as “armor” helps Telana ensure she feels confident, beautiful, and ready to handle any task with ease. I’m so excited to share Telana’s tips and tricks on how to make any work outfit bold, fun, and most importantly- helping you make your fashion statement!
I’m so stoked to welcome Elizabeth Barajas to share her take on a “Survivalist’s Guide to Fashion.” Back in the days when we were single and childless, Elizabeth and I would romp around Florida beaches and down Orange Street with the latest outfit we could squeeze on in our price range. Today Liz and I are both lawyers and both busy mothers living totally different lives with similar survival techniques. The vibe in Denver, Colorado, Liz’s current stomping ground, is often chill and laid back. With Liz’s busy and beautiful life, I wanted to hear her tips for getting through her week as an Assistant District Attorney, a mom, and what practical fashion tips she had to give when prioritizing comfort, versatility, and being a new mom. From our wild single times to the jungle that is motherhood, Elizabeth has confidently shown her ability to not only survive in any environment, but to thrive and look good while doing it. Enjoy!
Welcome Jennifer Prilliman to takeover this Tuesday! I first had the pleasure of meeting Jennifer in person in her role as Oklahoma City University School of Law’s Associate Dean for Administration and Distance Education when discussing the possibility of teaching a class for OCU Law. However, prior to meeting her, I had been following her social presence and was a fan. Over the pandemic so many of us grew, took on new projects, hobbies, and one I noticed was Jennifer’s running blog. Her story of how she used running as a way to get through the pandemic was inspiring and I immediately wanted to know more about her transformation and how she balances work, home life, and now training for marathons. I’m so excited to share Jennifer’s take on being true to yourself through fashion during this takeover.
It is my honor to introduce Her Honor, Judge Heather Coyle to Takeover Tuesday! An Oklahoma native, Judge Coyle is definitely Sooner Born and Sooner bred. Choosing the University of Oklahoma as home for both her undergrad and law school education. Before her current position, Heather Coyle served as an Assistant District Attorney for twenty years. She is currently known as Judge Heather Coyle, serving as a District Judge for District 7, office 8 in Oklahoma County.
When Judge Coyle isn’t fashionably ruling the court room, she enjoys living the philanthropist life. She is involved within numerous foundations, but is most notably a founding member of Waytable. Waytable is program serving at risk youth. With her “find your fashion” mindset I’m excited for our newest Takeover Tuesday Contributor to guide us through the adventure of boss looks. Welcome to Maz Modern Judge Heather Coyle!
