Who is Stacey Plaskett?
Legal and Regal. She’s a litigator and elected delegate from the U.S. Virgin Islands, Brooklyn native, former Bronx District Attorney, former counsel to the House Ethics Committee, and a political appointee at the Justice Department under President George W. Bush. Today, she is the Impeachment Manager, and most recently known as the “Breakout Star of the Senate Impeachment Hearings.”
She was tasked with making an argument for the prosecution that the former president bore responsibility for the attack on the Capitol January 6th and should be convicted by the Senate.
Her arguments were clear, crisp, and concise, weaving in nods to pop culture when stating "The truth is usually seen and rarely heard" from GZA of the Wu-Tang Clan.

Her words alone were not the only showcase during this week’s impeachment hearings. Her outfit was on point, commanding attention of the room and noticed by American women everywhere who couldn’t help but to comment on her fierce “like a boss” look while “defending democracy in a cape.”
