It is my honor to introduce Her Honor, Judge Heather Coyle to Takeover Tuesday! An Oklahoma native, Judge Coyle is definitely Sooner Born and Sooner bred. Choosing the University of Oklahoma as home for both her undergrad and law school education. Before her current position, Heather Coyle served as an Assistant District Attorney for twenty years. She is currently known as Judge Heather Coyle, serving as a District Judge for District 7, office 8 in Oklahoma County.
When Judge Coyle isn’t fashionably ruling the court room, she enjoys living the philanthropist life. She is involved within numerous foundations, but is most notably a founding member of Waytable. Waytable is program serving at risk youth. With her “find your fashion” mindset I’m excited for our newest Takeover Tuesday Contributor to guide us through the adventure of boss looks. Welcome to Maz Modern Judge Heather Coyle!

Tuesday Takeover: Elizabeth Barajas
I’m so stoked to welcome Elizabeth Barajas to share her take on a “Survivalist’s Guide to Fashion.” Back in the days when we were single and childless, Elizabeth and I would romp around Florida beaches and down Orange Street with the latest outfit we could squeeze on in our price range. Today Liz and I are both lawyers and both busy mothers living totally different lives with similar survival techniques. The vibe in Denver, Colorado, Liz’s current stomping ground, is often chill and laid back. With Liz’s busy and beautiful life, I wanted to hear her tips for getting through her week as an Assistant District Attorney, a mom, and what practical fashion tips she had to give when prioritizing comfort, versatility, and being a new mom. From our wild single times to the jungle that is motherhood, Elizabeth has confidently shown her ability to not only survive in any environment, but to thrive and look good while doing it. Enjoy!
Tuesday Takeover: Rana Najib
Welcome Rana Najib to takeover this Tuesday! Rana is a strong, working mother who has translated her 15 years of customer service and management experience to give outstanding client services as a Real Estate Agent with Fidelity Real Estate Brokers. For the short time I’ve known Rana, she’s truly been such a positive and generous person going that extra mile to make someone’s day or to give detailed information that could make a difference when it comes to decision making when it comes to real estate purchases. As a native Texan, Rana shows that her attention to detail does not just come from her work ethic which you can follow at @RealEstateWithRana, but also in her style which is always on point. I’m excited to have her share some of her tricks of the trade with us this Tuesday.
Tuesday Takeover: Abby Broyles
I’m proud to welcome Abby Broyles to take over this Tuesday. Many of us know her as a young politician who ran a competitive campaign for State Senate last year, but I also know her as a lawyer, a former reporter, and now as a friend. As a colleague, I most admire her confidence, tenacity, and her willingness to find solutions for working Oklahomans particularly in her new endeavor to protect voting rights and encourage new voters with “Grit for Democracy.” As a friend, I admire her loyalty, humility, positivity, and purpose-driven life. As a fashionista, whether it’s on-air as a reporter or appearing as a politician, she’s always camera-ready and has given me a few tips when I’ve needed to present well on camera. This Tuesday, we all get some fashion-forward pointers from the incomparable and resolute Abby Broyles.
Tuesday Takeover: Lauren Warkentine
I’m proud to welcome my friend and custom suiter extraordinaire Lauren Warkentine to takeover today’s blog. A few months ago a mutual friend introduced us and I’m so impressed by Lauren’s custom suiting business William & Lauren. Since then we’ve been scheming up fashion forward concepts, photoshoots, and our next partnership to pay it forward…stay tuned! Along with being a professional fashion suit maker to follow @williamlaurenco, she’s began to build her real estate empire through flipping local homes and you can follow that journey on @lmwrealestate. For me, it’s always great to connect to someone that shares your values of working hard, feeling good, and looking good and I’m so excited to pass the baton to my fav lady leader of the week, Lauren Warkentine.
Takeover Tuesday: Danielle Fielding
Let’s welcome the fun and fresh Danielle Fielding to takeover today. Danielle is a top plaintiff’s attorney for medical malpractice in Oklahoma City and co-owner of Martin & Fielding law firm. She’s energetic, optimistic, a great judge of character, and I admire how she balances the demands of being a good mom with taking care of business. In fact, I recently hired her to take care of a personal injury case for me which yielded great results! Danielle is definitely someone I’m lucky enough to call a friend in the local legal community and she definitely undersells her fashion sense because she always looks great. With that let me pass the mic to Danielle Fielding a trusted advisor both in the fashion world and the legal field.
Tuesday Takeover: Monica Ybarra
Maz Mavens let me introduce you to the effervescent and elegant Monica Ybarra. I am lucky enough to have served on the OCU Law Alumni Association board with her as President for a couple of years and been able to witness her charisma, leadership ability, and style. Monica is a lawyer by profession—In house counsel at TBS Factoring Service, LLC, but among her peers she is most well-known for her ability to connect, her authenticity, her hard work ethic, and her ability to bring sunshine to the space she enters. She has a true sense of self in a way that exudes confidence, but not vanity. She loves to lift others up and does it with grace. When she’s not roaming around obscure parts of Oklahoma and Santa Fe with her fiancé, you’ll find she takes pride in representing the Latinx community in anyway she can. In fact, I often see hints of Latin representation in her unique, yet classic style that I describe as powerfully feminine. With that, it’s my pleasure to get some fashion ques from the always on point Monica Ybarra.
Blame it All On My Roots I Showed Up in Boots
This bi-polar Oklahoma weather has got me pulling out clothes from the fall to romp around town this Friday. These booties are too cute to keep on the shelf, white boots are very on trend, and well it’s Oklahoma so boots are pretty much always acceptable no matter the occasion.👢👢
Tuesday Takeover: Cynthia Tobar McCoy
It is an honor to introduce Cynthia Tobar McCoy to takeover this Tuesday. I met her as a young blossoming woman when she worked at the Latino Community Development Agency with my mother. Today, she is an accomplished Licensed Professional Counselor and founder of Emotional Wellness Counseling. I always admired her unique style, confidence, and independant way of looking at the world and I’m so excited to hear what she has to say about empowering yourself through fashion. With that let me pass the keyboard to the beautiful and insightful Cynthia Tobar McCoy.
