Tuesday Takeover: Elizabeth Isaac
On this Tuesday, Elizabeth Isaac takes over the Maz Modern blog to showcase her quirky, eclectic, and practical attorney style. With a knack for guiding creative professionals through their legal hurdles, she surely is one to watch for style and poise. Finding her own unique blend of comfort and style, Liz has solidly found her own fashion voice and we are excited to have her style speak volumes today.
Beret Bliss: Adventures of a Francophile in Paseo
Maybe I’ve been cooped up in the house for too long, but my inner diva is dying to fly across the world and be released after quarantine. Everyone has somewhere or something on their “to-do after Covid is under control” list and mine is to cross the Atlantic again and visit sweet Paris. Good thing beret’s are on trend for the winter because I’m living for cold weather clothing in the bitter Oklahoma cold, and going to pretend my way into thinking I’m sitting at an outdoor café somewhere far away.
Me-OW! Wild for Animal Print in a Predatory Way
One of my latest obsessions is animal print. For the last couple of years it has been a top trend that I often use to style up a neutral palette or add some spice to a plain suit. As time goes on, it’s become more of a staple and I want to share with you some ways to use it and some links of some very stylish items to give a lift to your current wardrobe.
Plan your Business Casual Look for ‘Casual Friday’
When I don’t have court on Friday, I know I can go to the office in a more casual, comfortable style to finish off my week. This outfit is dressed up enough for a business casual Friday, yet comfortable enough to run errands around town.
I’m Speaking
Today, being Inauguration Day, I wanted to make a statement that I am standing in solidarity with the most powerful woman in the country, our first female Vice President Kamala Harris. A remarkable woman that many women of mixed race, women of color, women from immigrant families, and women that have worked their way up in a male-dominated profession can see themselves in.
The “I’m speaking” sweater speaks volumes to the promise that, through Kamala Harris, women’s voices will be heard.
