Women’s History Month Drip: Comfortable and Capable

In celebration of Women’s History Month I decided to do a deep dive into some cases that pushed the women’s movement forward. READING femme literature keeps my spirits rising and my mind sharp, SURROUNDING myself with powerful and capable women keeps me encouraged that we are making a difference, and today, WEARING this comfortable gold toned outfit styled by @mabouata to remind me of the high standards in my practice and life.

How did you celebrate?

Fashion is Evolutionary

Let’s be frank, there was a time where female attorneys were unheard of and women could not vote. Luckily times have changed, and so has fashion. This look is monochromatic and using earth tones to create a sleek business casual look for the office. The animal print heels play off the camel colored tones in the suede skirt to complete the look in a fierce way.

Seize the Day and Make an Impact

Women used to not be able to make choices about their surroundings, their jobs, the clothes they wear, and still in many countries that exists.

For me, part of the mantra of “seize the day” is making sure that you show up to make an impact whether that’s with what you say, what you do, or what you are wearing.
